- Live Music
If you’re in the mood for jazz music, then head to one of the most well-known nightlife spots in Chiang Mai – a small, rustic jazz bar located at the north gate of the old city. This intimate venue gets very busy on weekends around 9 pm, with the crowd spilling out onto the street. Upstairs, you can watch the band from a higher perspective.
The prices for drinks are fairly reasonable, with small bottles of beer starting at around 85 baht and cocktails starting at around 150 baht. This is a great place to experience the vibrant jazz scene in Chiang Mai and enjoy a lively atmosphere with friends.

a month agoI prefer to go to a local jazz pub whenever I travel. It's a place where I can have enough fun on my own. It wasn't classical jazz, but watching Tuesday's performance made me realize why it's so famous. It's a small place, but it's fun and lively. It's a great place to spend your last night in Chiang Mai.

a month agoWithout a doubt, some of the best like music in Southeast Asia! Local musicians are incredible and I enjoyed both bands on Thursday night. It was packed so expect to enjoy with a crowd, however that makes for a great atmosphere as everyone is there to enjoy the bands. Sound is very good and well balanced which as a musician great to hear. Cocktails looked good and there was speedy service - I went for ice cold beers from the bucket and at 100k they are very reasonable indeed given that there is no entrance fee for the excellent live music. If anyone from management is reading, the band I play for in Hanoi: Dan and the a Vices, would be delighted to get a spot here for a night - a bucket list place to play in Asia for us!

a month agoVery delicious pancakes. One thing I love is that they have the menu in english which makes it convenient for outsiders. So many varieties to choose from. A bit expensive compared to other similar places, but the experience is great. Even the cashier speaks excellent English. They even have an offer if you buy 10.

2 months agoIt was a bit crowded, but so much fun!! I got there around 7pm to enjoy a live band on the fourth floor, which was almost fully seated. Then, I moved down to another band around 8pm. At that point, it was quite crowded. I stayed until the third band started playing, people kept coming in to enjoy the live music and dance. My only concern is they should ensure that the building remains in good condition given the movement of people on the second floor. 🤣🤣

a month agoone of the many great places in Chiang Mai to listen to live music. Typical night includes 3-4 bands performing on various levels of the club, genres include those beyond jazz like rock, blues, etc. Disclaimer: I would heavily recommend getting here when doors open at 7pm, or very soon after. By 8pm, every seat is taken inside & out, and every inch of standing room is occupied and people are spilling into the streets. Cocktails are 300baht and up, beer about 100 for a Chang. No food available here either
