If you’re in the mood for jazz music, then head to one of the most well-known nightlife spots in Chiang Mai – a small, rustic jazz bar located at the north gate of the old city. This intimate venue gets very busy on weekends around 9 pm, with the crowd spilling out onto the street. Upstairs, you can watch the band from a higher perspective.
The prices for drinks are fairly reasonable, with small bottles of beer starting at around 85 baht and cocktails starting at around 150 baht. This is a great place to experience the vibrant jazz scene in Chiang Mai and enjoy a lively atmosphere with friends.

4 weeks agoWow! A must visit for genuine jazz/blues music lovers. We experienced a local group of 4, in the 4th floor, doing magnificent jazzy and full of energy covers for the music of Sade, The Beatles, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and more. Later was a quattret down stairs. Place was packed!! Sound is great, atmosphere very cozy. Will definitely come back again.

a week agoWe had the most amazing evening dancing!! Only thing was that they put a lot of chairs inside and people had to dance outside, next time take the chairs away and so many more people can see the concert and dance! Credits to the amazing band!! (They play every Wednesday)

in the last weekTips: The band starts at 8.30pm, come earlier if you want some seats (there're seats upstairs too) Nice vibe. A bit expensive side on booze but agreeable with good vibe n jazz. Saw some cheap foreigners who brought their own beer. (2 big changs, can be 3 or more if staff didn't talk to them) Literally, guys, if you can't afford 1-2 more dollars (30-60 thb) just stay at the hotel and listen to Spotify. Or even stay in your country. Even Thai ppl don't do this bc we respect musicians and ppl who earn for their lives.

in the last weekAmazing vibes. Made some great friends on the side of the road while listening to some amazing musicians. Definitely recommend drinking some whiskey sodas and enjoying the live jazz and blues. Every Monday for back to back bands!
